Photography needn't be and shouldn't be complicated

Drawing on all my knowledge of photography principles and my expert "in the field" photography skills I bring you the opportunity to increase your photography level of expertise which will allow you to begin to take the kind of photos you always wanted to take.

But first of all I want you to stop and answer this question.

Do your main photographic interests include macro photography, astro photography, the use of flash lighting or studio portraiture ? If so then do not buy this book. There is nothing in this book about these genres so you would be wasting your time and money buying the book and I don't want you to do that. I've never had any interest whatsoever in these genres, have never engaged with them and so, I have no first hand knowledge to pass on to you.

Outside of those genres the book is a mine of information that will allow you every opportunity to reach those higher levels of expertise you always longed to achieve but were held back by old, out of date, uninformative and often incomplete and inaccurate teaching methods and material.

Over 300 pages crammed full of vital information that will change your photographic life. Hundreds of top class photos that I have taken including the shooting settings I used. Animations. Diagrams. Videos.

I'll explain in a detailed but friendly, conversational manner, not only how to take great photos - I'll provide full explanations about the theory behind how cameras work. Yes folks, you have to know the theory but don't worry, I'll explain it in such a way as to be EASY to understand, remember, and put into practice. I want you to have enough information to be able to solve any problems you may have, on the spot.

I'll also drastically reduce the amount of theory you need to know to a minimum for the purposes of enhancing your photography. For example, exposure is an essential subject to understand and you can buy books that just deal with exposure and nothing else. I distill the definition of exposure down to a single sentence then go on to provide you with a number of practical examples of how exposure affects photography and how you can consistently achieve a balanced exposure in your photographs.

I'll encourage you to develop a simple but effective workflow that gets results. A workflow that discourages you from tampering with settings too much. "Don't fiddle - take photos." An example would be birds and birds in flight photography. I can take around 1500 shots in a session and for the most part the only button on the camera that I'll touch is the shutter button.

I also do away with old fashioned terminology which has often stifled interest in photography because many of them are simply too complicated to understand. Well, now they're gone in this e-book. I've simplified them with the result that when you fully understand what the terminology means , you have more options when using your camera.

Cameras have evolved amazingly over the last 10 years but teaching methods haven't. I'll put that right in this book by bringing you the best teaching methods available.
