What we do.

We're dragging photography tuition into the 21st century by overcoming the habit of sticking with the old ways. "After all, we've done things like this for as long as we can remember." Well, it's time we left the old ways behind and introduced some innovation around here and that's exactly what EASY Photography does.

We've taken the mystery out of terminology so that, for example, you won't have to tussle with something called "depth of field" anymore - something that's frequently confused people to the point where they feel that photography is too complicated. We've substituted a less wordy, simple   EASY    to understand alternative which is "the area of sharpnes in a photo." We've also done away with overly wordy explanations of photography principles that seem to need you to buy a book or watch lengthy videos on that one topic. Exposure is an example. When you really get down to the substance of exposure a few words say it all. It's all about bright and dark areas.   EASY    !

We just don't understand why you are frequently told that you MUST do certain things most of the time. That approach is borne from lack of knowledge about photography. A one trick pony approach if ever there was one.  Here, we rarely use the word MUST.  Instead we advise what WILL work well and what MIGHT be a good alternative and there often is an effective alternative in many situations.  We innovate by discovering and sharing those alternatives with you. So, with EASY Photography you have choices. Importantly, we do all this without compromising on image quality.

We teach using diagrams, animations and videos and, of course, we show you lots of our top quality images. We are "in the field photographers" which means that whilst we know all the theory (and that's essential to know), we can get the quality job done out there where photos are taken in lots of different conditions and scenarios. We want you to be "in the field" photographers too. One of the main benefits of that will be that you should be able to solve problems on the spot, adjust your technique or settings and bring home many more keepers. We'll teach you how to do those things. 

 

We can show you how to develop a workflow that returns consistent results which will provide you with two great benefits.

We can show you how it's possible to take a large number of photos in a day's shoot with little need to be constantly changing settings.

You'll spend much less time using editing tools. Now that's making photography  EASY.
